    2. Eisenhower Park Picnic Shelter Survey

      1. Denver Parks & Recreation has identified the Eisenhower Park Picnic Shelter for improvements. Improvements could include either refurbishment / renovation of the existing shelter or full replacement with a new shelter. Learn more: https://denvergov.org/parkprojects.     4. Camper/trailer/boat parking update

    5. New U-Hills North Park

      1. There is a public meeting and a survey open about the new park in U-Hills North. The survey for the new park (at Iliff & Bellaire) is. open now through October 15! Take the survey now, share it with your neighbors, and don’t forget to register for the public meeting on Thursday, September 15 (information below). Learn more on our website.     6. Near Southeast Planning & Surveys

      1. This planning effort includes the U-Hills North neighborhood, among other SE Denver neighborhoods (Goldsmith, Washington Virginia Vale, Virginia Village, and Indian Creek). Surveys on each of the major plan topics are now available for you to share feedback on. Recommendations will serve as the foundation for the Near Southeast Area Plan so make sure your voice is heard as part of this process!

    7. City Council Dist 4 Town Hall Meeting: Tues, Oct 25 @ TJ

    8. Heatwave Help

      1. People can get up to $300 to help pay for their Xcel bill (or for repairs to their HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems through the Summer Energy Assistance program. Denver County residents who meet certain income limits can get up to $300. Applications are open now through September 30. Learn more and apply here: https://bit.ly/SummerEnergyAssistance2022.

    9. Free Youth Therapy Sessions

      1. The I Matter program provides up to six (6) free therapy sessions for any Colorado youth and reimburses participating providers, who are licensed therapists in Colorado. Learn more about the program at: IMatterColorado.org
