June Community Meeting Planning:

• Lets go over the Xcel agreement speakers & the plan

  • SE2 Change For Good, Together Colorado

  • Invite for a 15 minute panel, both present for the same meeting

• Do we want the auditor to come? If so, what date. 

  • Timothy O’Brian

  • Reached out to speak at community meeting

  • Topics of discussion potentially include: Budget concerns, Elections, Wage laws

  • Invite for the September to speak alongside Councilwoman Diana Campbell-Romero

Food Truck Night Planning:

• Organize who will be the designated person for each food truck night.

  • Kathy added for Aug 21st/ July 24th 

  • Jim for Aug 7th

  • David for July 24th

  • Linda for June 26th 

  • Arianna for June 12th

  • Reach out to Emily for a request of additional support

• Confirm bands

  • Reached out to Dylan West (Movie night performer) for June 12th

  • Donna will help clarify rate for performances

  • In the past, $100/gig + tip jar

  • Power supply needed for amps

• Thank you David for getting the Book Bus ball rolling

• Could someone volunteer to print out and laminate new QR codes for UHNA donation. I can provide the design.

• Can anyone help with flyer drop at our sponsors and community partners? I will provide you with the printed flyers. 

• Gabby will update planning sheet with more activities as they are set up

• Kathy will reach out to Shining Lotus for event sponsorship, extent of participation

  • Each food truck night is considered an individual event, therefore we will ask the owner if he would be interested in a hybrid sponsorship- advertisement on each flyer w/o table

• New Sponsor: BODYBAR

  • Will be tabling at food truck nights

• Revisiting the Facebook group idea?

• Jim, would you be able to make Facebook events for each food truck night & for the DUG community mulching event. Arianna can then add them to Nextdoor, too.

• Colorado Boulevard BRT Stakeholder Committee Meetings are ongoing www.codot.gov/projects/studies/denvermetrobrt/coloradoblvd

  • UHNA is not interested in organizing or facilitating a committee to discuss Colorado Blvd BRT, refer any outreach to meetings @ link

• Denver Public Library Book-mobile will be @ Eisenhower on 28th of May & Every Thursday
