You're invited to the 6th Annual UHNA
Picnic With A Purpose
Saturday, June 6, 2009, 11:00 am - 6:00 pm



Our Purpose this Year is to raise funds for
HCL: Holistic Community Living and Our Local Food Bank of the Rockies"


Come on out and help our neighbors

Where: Eisenhower Park
 Your UHNA has reserved the sheltered picnic area next to the
playground located at S. Colorado Blvd. and E. Dartmouth Ave.
(At the shelter, behind the Recreation Center)


Our UHNA President, Randy Marcove
will be "manning the grill"
Stop by for a burger or hot dog!


All neighbors are are encouraged to attend!
  • Meet your neighbors, Have Fun, People watch.
  • Bring your picnic - Enjoy a freshly grilled Hot Dog!
  • Cotton Candy, Popcorn for the kids!
  • Bring your bats, balls, kites, games, frisbees, etc. to share!
  • Games in the park…softball for the kids and adults!
  • The Music Entertainment will be fun for all!

    Fresh Vienna Beef Hot dogs provided
    by Vienna Beef LTD.

    Fresh Boca Burgers and Tofu Dogs provided
    provided by Vitamin Cottage.


    Bring your bike to the park for a FREE "check-up"
    by the Bike Experts at Bike Source



    Timbuk Toys will bring toys for the kids to "test-drive"

    Music Provided by...
    2 - 3 pm: Ridge View All-Boys Choir
    3 - 4 pm:     Denver Municipal Jazz Band

     Come out for the food
    and fun with the kids
    Stay for the Music!

    UHNA Potluck-Picnics at the Eisenhower Park is a great way to meet your neighbors, have fun with neighbors, make new friends, spend time with your family and enjoy nature.


    Check List - What to Bring:
  • Picnic blanket
  • Dish to share
  • Cold Beverages (NO Glass - per park Rules)
  • Bottled Water
  • Chairs
  • Garbage bag
  • Bug Spray, Sunscreen
  • Rec Center Pool is open - Bring swimsuit and towel!
  • Optional: Donation and a canned good or two
