Maya Gets her bike replaced!
A young girl lost her bicycle at the UHNA picnic on June 5th, 2010. Pictured here, neighbor, Bruce Kapp, a good samaritan in the area, was able to find the owner of the bike through many hours of investigation. Bruce Kapp called all over the neighborhood, calling numbers listed on the picnic flyer.
Another good samaritan, Lauren Allen, had outgrown her bike and has kindly donated it to Maya Nieto, who lost her bike at the picnic. Pictured here is Maya Nieto (on her new bike), Maya's mom, Erica and Lauren. This generous donation shows that there is the spirit of goodwill in the area. This effort of kindness should make us very proud. This is another example of how "close-knit" our neighborhood is becoming , because of good neighbors and the U-Hills Neghborhood Association. If you have another "good neighbor" story, please let us know! Contact UHNA Boards Member: Lee McDonnell, 303-691-2862 UHNA.Com |
